At the Premiere episode of Asia’s Got Talent last Thursday, the two local acts impressed judges David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park.
First local act were #SingingSisters
The first local act was the #SingingSisters – Anne-Sophie Cazaubon, 10 and her sister Ariane, 12.
The two girls had not only wowed the judges with their rendition of “The Flower Duet” by Leo Debiles, but they had also received a standing ovation from members of the audience who had been present during the show.
Said Anggun, “I loved that; it was beautiful. You really moved me.”
Agreed David Foster, “Girls, I really loved it. This is why we’re here; to see talent like that. They were so good, they were like one person.”
Said Jay Park, “Where did that come from? The fact that you guys are kids just went out of my mind and that was beautiful.”
Prasheela Ramesh also impressed with her powerful rendition of “Don’t Rain On My Parade.”
The other act from Singapore was Prasheela Ramesh, an 11 year old student who sang “Don’t Rain On My Parade” by Barbara Streisand. Her rendition was perfect and according to David Foster, it was a “pretty powerful performance” that earned a resounding yes from him.
A Golden Buzzer for ADEM Dance Crew from Kyrgyz Republic
The first Golden Buzzer also went to ADEM Dance Crew from Kyrgyz Republic. ADEM will head directly to the Semi Finals, making them one step closer to winning the grand prize of USD $100,000.
Said Jay, “To be honest, I have seen a lot of animation shows, but the way you put yours together was crazy. It was amazing; it was really, really good.”
