Bold Gold Merlion Themed Medal For Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon™ 2019

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon™ (SCSM) organisers, IRONMAN Asia, have unveiled the race medal design for the Marathon category.

Merlion Themed Medal

Fronted by the Merlion, this year’s medal is the second rendition of the “Bold Gold” series and features one of Singapore’s deeply-rooted symbols, with key elements of the city’s iconic skyline in the background.

The 15,000 Full Marathon runners will receive the iconic medal upon completion of the first SCSM evening race on. 30 November.

SCSM App Now Out

As well, the SCSM 2019 mobile application is now out in the Apple and Android App Store, providing live race information and event updates, as well as a three-month training plan, tailored to each runner’s schedule as they gear up for the race. 

This app is officially launching in September, with updates being around key alerts like road closures and race pack collection reminders, as the event draws nearer.

Training Programmes

And for runners who need more motivation to train for the race, official training programmes and a virtual SCSM Strava running community are available too, to help runners put their best foot forward in time for the November race.

Race slots for the Half Marathon are sold out, but you can still sign up for the Full Marathon.
