How To Beat Candy Crush Saga Level 404

This is a very hard level in Candy Crush Saga, mainly because of the chocolate factories. There are so many of them and they will keep on generating chocolate. Unless you are lucky, the chocolate will also eat at least one of the jellyfish that you have been provided with – at this level.

Level 404 of Candy Crush Saga can be beaten

At the same time, some of the jellies that you are supposed to clear at this level are hidden underneath the meringue, so you won’t even be able to see them.

With the chocolate plague and meringues hiding your jelly squares, how then, do you beat Level 404 of Candy Crush?

Combine a colour bomb with a jellyfish

This is a very useful combination at Level 404 of Candy Crush. Normally a jellyfish will eat only three jelly squares, but this combination will ensure that a single jellyfish eats twice the usual amount, which is six jelly squares. So it will help you to clear more jelly, especially the ones that you can’t see.

This is particularly important too, because of the chocolate factories. They will spew chocolate out at an alarming rate and one of your jellyfish will almost always be eaten up by the chocolate because of the way that the board has been arranged. So combining a colour bomb and a jellyfish is a great way to beat this level. So do so whenever you have the chance.

Try and clear the top jelly squares before releasing most of your jellyfish

In Level 404 of Candy Crush Saga, you would probably unlock at least one jellyfish with the jelly squares mostly intact on the top of the board. So you should try and get rid of the jelly at the top of the board, before unlocking the remaining jellyfish. Doing so will prevent the jellyfish from being wasted because there’s a chance that they may eat the jelly squares at the top – rather than the ones at the bottom, which they are supposed to help you clear Level 404 of Candy Crush Saga.

So try to eliminate this possibility by clearing as many jelly squares from the top of the board before you even unlock the jellyfish – unless of course, you have no choice and using the jellyfish is the only move that you have in the game.

Keep the chocolate at bay

The chocolate factories may seem to be randomly generating chocolate, but this is not true. Once the board has been cleared of chocolate, they will generate a new chocolate square only two moves later. So you can predict roughly when to expect a piece of chocolate – and prepare yourself to clear it.

By knowing this, you will be able to keep the pesky chocolate at bay, and prevent it from overtaking your board – thus turning a good and promising game into one that is almost completely impossible to win Level 404 of Candy Crush Saga.
