CP’s four Ready to Cook Thai style meals.
I tried out all four of the meals and I thought that it’s quite a good idea that the sauces are packaged separately from the rice or spaghetti, as this prevents the carbohydrate item from getting soggy. The diner adds the sauce to the meal before eating it and the portion sizes are decent for a filling lunch or dinner.
Teriyaki Chicken with Rice

This meal comprises of a good portion of rice, served with several large chunks of teriyaki chicken. The meat is also tasty and a rather generous amount of teriyaki sauce is available too. There are also vegetables – namely carrots and some pieces of a green leafy vegetable. In this way, it was also a very nicely balanced meal, with a good amount of items from each of the main food groups.
Stir Fried Chicken & Basil with Rice
Stir Fried Chicken & Basil With Rice.
This meal comes with rice, thin strips of shredded chicken and a very generous amount of sauce. There are also a green leafy vegetables. The sauce is quite spicy too and contains plenty of chilli, so this will definitely suit fans of spicy food. The basil comes out as quite strong, but the generous serving of rice rice helps to neutralise the strong favours though.
Green Curry Chicken with Rice
Green Curry Chicken With Rice.
This meal comes with rather large chunks of chicken and plenty of green curry sauce and rice. Unlike the basil chicken meal though, the chilli flavour here is quite mild, so it will suit those who like a less spicy taste. The flavour of the green curry is pleasant, and is good for spooning onto the rice.
Spaghetti with Chicken Sauce
Spaghetti With Chicken Sauce.
The chicken bolognese sauce in this meal was tasty and the flavour was not overpowering. I thought the chicken is minced well too. Be sure that you mix the sauce well in with the pasta though, so that all the spaghetti absorbs the sauce.
