To usher in the New Year, McDonald’s® Singapore is introducing the BBQ Pulled Chicken Burger. The fast food chain hopes that this limited edition offering will add some excitement to their range of premium Signature Collection burgers.
McDonald’s® take on a Southern dish
The BBQ Pulled Chicken Burger is McDonald’s® take on the Southern dish in the United States – the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, and it consists of 100% white meat, pulled to perfection and then covered in BBQ sauce. It is then topped with purple cabbage and carrot and encased within a fluffy white bun.
It is available from S$8.45 as a meal with Medium French Fries and Small Coca-Cola or a-la-carte from S$6.45, after breakfast hours in all restaurants as well as via McDelivery® from 4 January 2018, while stocks last.
The new offering is available alongside the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Burger, which is being offered as a permanent item on the Signature Collection menu.
This consists of whole muscle chicken thigh flavoured with buttermilk packed in a glazed burger bun. It comes with romaine lettuce, purple cabbage, Colby cheese and black pepper mayonnaise and is topped with grilled pineapple rings.
This too, is available from S$6.45 as an a-la-carte order, or from S$8.45 as a meal with Medium French Fries and Small Coca-Cola.
Italian Herb Drumlets
Besides the burger, McDonald’s® Singapore is also introducing the Italian Herb Drumlets, which is seasoned with Oregano and Basil.
This item is available from 4 January 2018 at S$2.20 for two pieces and S$10.80 for ten pieces.
Apple Pie A La Mode
For those who have a sweet tooth, McDonald’s® Singapore is also offering the Apple Pie A La Mode in both Strawberry and Hot Fudge flavours.
This dessert is targeted at those who cannot choose between Apple Pie or Sundae for dessert – and consists of a vanilla soft serve paired with an Apple Pie, and drizzled with either Hot Fudge or Strawberry topping.
When the sweet cravings strike and I am at McDonald’s®, I have always loved pairing my McDonald’s® apple pie together with their Hot Fudge Sundaes, so this is certainly a dessert that I must try. In fact, I can only wonder why McDonald’s® did not come up with this combination, earlier!
The Apple Pie A La Mode dessert is available from 4 January from S$2.50 at all McDonald’s restaurants, Dessert Kiosks as well as via McDelivery® while stocks last.
