To kick off the new year, McDonald’s® Singapore today is launching three new items that have never been seen before in their outlets here – and these are the Salted Egg Yolk Loaded Fries, Peach Pie and the Pandan Soft Serve.
And as well, the Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Drumlets is making a return, too.
Salted Egg Yolk Loaded Fries
Featuring McDonald’s® Singapore’s all-time favourite golden French Fries, this new version will be taken up a notch, and this creation set to feature the company’s iconic Fries coated with a blanket of Salted Egg Yolk sauce blended with curry leaves to give a hint of sweet and savoury with each bite.
I remember the last time that McDonald’s® Singapore had launched the Salted Egg Yolk Burger, this had been met with muted response due to a lack of the Salted Egg Yolk flavour present, so I do hope that the fast food giant has learnt from that, and they would be more generous with the Salted Egg Yolk sauce, this time around.
These Fries would be available at S$1.20 with any meal upgrade and is available at all outlets across Singapore as well as on McDelivery® and GrabFood too, after breakfast hours, while stocks last.
Peach Pie
For those who simply love the taste of this stone fruit, this item will definitely appeal.
And that’s because the newly introduced McDonald’s® peach pie is described as containing a smooth filling of succulent white peach chunks wrapped in a pale link crust and according to McDonald’s®, it is set to offer a flavour sensation with every crunch.
This is available as an a la carte order from S$1.40 at all outlets, dessert kiosks and via both McDelivery® and GrabFood.
Pandan Soft Serve
A familiar flavour to Singaporeans, the Pandan Soft Serve Ice Cream, according to McDonald’s®, is set to evolve a taste of nostalgia to many.
After all, we have grown up on pandan flavoured desserts such as the pandan chiffon cake and the ondeh-ondeh, so having one more surely can’t hurt, can it?
This is available exclusively at McDonald’s® Dessert Kiosks across Singapore as a Cone (S$1.00), ChocoCone (S$1.20), Sundae (S$2.00) and McFlurry (S$3.00) while stocks last.
Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Drumlets
Last time it was released, the Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Drumlets proved to be popular amongst Singaporeans, and now they are making a comeback.
And just like the last time, these tender and juicy chicken drumlets are generously coated with prawn paste batter before being cooked to golden perfection, giving Singaporeans the rich umami flavours of Ha Cheong Gai.
I still remember that these had been quite delicious when I had tried them out the previous time, and I can’t wait to get my hands on some again.
The Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Drumlets will be available a la carte, with two pieces of these being packaged and sold from S$2.40 – good for those who want a snack.
But for those with larger appetites, you can also buy four pieces of the drumlets as part of a Happy Sharing Box that also includes six pieces of Chicken McNuggets.
Both items are available at all outlets across Singapore as well as via McDelivery® and GrabFood, while stocks last.
