Valentine’s Day is a day of celebrating love. Why not show your love for ice cream at the Museum Of Ice Cream Singapore?
With locations in Austin, New York City, Chicago and Singapore, Museum of Ice Cream has welcomed millions of visitors over the years to its fully immersive, interactive spaces that create connections through the universal power of ice cream.
And this coming February, Museum Of Ice Cream Singapore is offering exclusive promotions and discounts from the 14th to 18th to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
For a limited period, visitors can get their limited edition Valentine’s Day bundle by topping up $22 (usual price $39) on the ticket prices. This bundle consists of a Love Sundae and Sprinkle Bowl, two cute Gift Shop items and a pretty heart shaped lock for you to pledge your wishes for each other at the museum. This is supposed to mimic the famous Parisian lock bridge.
I was invited to the Museum Of Ice Cream where I got to experience the Valentine’s Day offerings for myself. I have to say that the Valentine’s Day bundle items are super cute and I really adored the fluffy pink pen from the Gift Shop.
The Love Sundae and Sprinkle Bowl, which you redeem at the Scream Diner, also looks very pretty and whimsical and I couldn’t stop taking pictures of it before tucking in. The ice cream was half melted by the time I started eating, but that’s the price you pay when the camera needs to eat first!
The Valentine’s Day package consists of a welcome drink, which is a pink strawberry cocktail which was nice and a great way to start off the visit. Each package comprises of one drink which is meant to be shared.
Of course, how could any Museum Of Ice Cream visit not include a mandatory walk through the pink fantasy playscape that is the Museum itself? Tickets for the Museum are priced from $37 on weekdays and $43 on weekends and this includes free flow of ice cream throughout your visit.
During my time there, I had an amazing time walking through the Museum, soaking up the awesome pinkness, taking pictures and simply enjoying the ice cream.
The rooms are all well decorated and each room has a specific theme. Themes range from local delights to popsicle heaven and there is even a mirror maze that is modelled on ice cream. I particularly loved the old school room with the unicorn playground, which is their take on the famous dragon playground in Toa Payoh.
As well, there was so many types of ice cream to eat too and I felt really full by the end of it all. Each room had a few flavours to try – there are a total of 12 different varieties to try in all.
My favourite ice cream was the Ben & Jerry’s at the very end. But the other ice creams are also very yummy – these range from old school wafers and local Potong style ice creams to cup, cone and soft serve ice creams. It was really sweetness overload for me.
Create sweet heartfelt memories at the Museum of Ice Cream this Valentine’s Day and purchase your tickets on their website at tickets.museumoficecream.sg. What are you waiting for?
As an added bonus on top of the ticket prices, couples can enjoy a second concoction of love at 50% off at Scream’s Diner and Museum of Ice Cream’s Dessert Bar along with a 50% discount on their second item at the gift shop . Note that the lower priced item will be discounted.
