Come April 10, AXN will kick off its search for Asia’s next global superstar, as the online auditions for the highly anticipated Asia’s Got Talent begins for Season 2.

Got Talent show format is the most successful in history
Originally crated by Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment and co-produced and owned by Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia, the Got Talent series is entered into the Guinness Book of World Records, as the Most Successful Reality Show Format in history, with 70 local versions produced across Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and the Americas. The Got Talent show format airs in more than 186 countries around the globe.
In the first season of Asia’s Got Talent, the Filipino shadow dance group El Gamma Penumbra was crowed as the grand winner, and walked away with a cash prize of USD $10,000.
The first season of Asia’s Got Talent also was the highest rated entertainment series on English Language channels on Astro in the past couple of years, with the Grand Finale Results episode being the highest rated pay-TV programme in the Philippines since 2008, commanding a 96 per cent share amongst 22 English GE Channels.

How to audition for the show
Applications can visit www.AXN-Asia.com/AsiasGotTalent to submit their audition videos. These should include a short introduction of their act, and the actual performance. Videos should not exceed two minutes length.
Besides the online auditions, AXN will also hold a series of open auditions in major cities across the region next month. Cities and dates will be announced via AXN’s TV channel, Social Media platforms and website.
