Other Tips from ActiveSG
Besides the upcoming ActiveSG classes, some other tips to get your health goals back on track, during this period, could include the following:
- Get at least six to eight hours of sleep per day, so that you can look more radiant and feel more energetic. I am sure that the last thing that you want is for your relatives and friends to say that you are looking sluggish and exhausted during all of those house visits.
- Switch your phone off before bed and only respond to your messages in the morning will helps you to get a more restful sleep.
- Eat your meals and snacks slowly. This prevents you from over-eating. For example, do not shove the whole piece of pineapple tart into your mouth at one go. Instead, take three or four bites and chew it slowly.
- Choose water or low sugar drinks, rather than alcohol or fizzy soft drinks.
- Talk to your loved ones face to face, instead of communicating by WhatsApp. This is so that you can get some exercise when you’re walking over to see the person.
- Take the stairs rather than the lift to get some exercise into your day.
