Ring in the new year at Clarke Quay’s 2020 Countdown Party taking place on 31 December 2019 at the iconic Fountain Square, from 8:30pm till late. 

Let your hair down and unleash your imagination with this year’s “Vision” theme – which will have you do a double take.

A psychotropic world awaits

This is because at Clarke Quay, you will be drawn into a psychotropic world where one of the highlights will be a dimensional 2020 backdrop for you to take those great photos for your social media accounts. 

And furthermore, if you need more double vision enhancements, get a pair of complimentary ChromaDepth 3D glasses and dive into a psychedelic realm of colours and patterns. As well, you will also experience LED visuals and decorations that are set to change based on the music being played.

Shirlyn + The UnXpected to be back, along with hosts Kimberly Wang and Gerald Koh

Local band Shirlyn + The UnXpected will also be back for the third time, creating a rousing atmosphere with their blend of rock and pop.

With show hosts Kimberly Wang and Gerald Koh from Mediacorp 987FM, be prepared to be led through a series of fun stage games, lucky draws and entertainment way into the wee hours of the new year.

Party begins from 8:30pm and continues till late

The pre-party warm-up begins at 8:30am with a kickoff dance set by DJ Heartbreaker presented by Le Noir Clarke Quay.

The customary countdown will move the party into the full swing at the stroke of midnight, marked by the time-honoured singing of Auld Lang Syne.

The fun doesn’t end there though – the party then will continue into the wee hours of New Year’s Day morning at clubs such as Zouk, Yang, F.Club x Attica and Get Juiced.

Admission to the party will be free and open to everyone.
