The makers of the world’s longest-lasting AA battery, Energizer®, has recently announced a new, re-energized look for their brand, including new packaging, in-store displays, logo and advertising for its battery product lines.
Explained Lori Shambro, Vice President, Global Marketing at Energizer Holdings, “We spent three years developing our new look, talking to customers and researching their preferences to deliver an experience that is both powerful and fun.”
A Lighter, Brighter Packaging
To be rolled out this month, the new visual treatments for Energizer® will provide a contemporary look with lighter, brighter presentation and a helpful new approach, as well as distinctive coloured packaging for the brand’s different batteries – the Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™, AA Battery, a lithium coin battery and an Energizer Recharge® Rechargeable battery – to help customers easily find the best product to meet their needs.
Added Shambro, “Our customers have told us they want bright, clear and helpful packaging that will stand out in a cluttered aisle.”
More Prominent Role For Brand Mascot
As well, there will also be a more prominent role for the company’s well-known brand mascot, Mr. Energizer™, too.
A living Energizer® battery who’s quick with a wink and a smile, Mr. Energizer™ is the embodiment of physical energy and is always up for a new challenge or a friendly competition. He’s an animated character who lives in the real world, marvelling at it with curious enthusiasm. His lasting endurance and fun-loving personality reflect the spirit of Energizer®.

Energizer®’s First Changes Since 2008
All of these are the first changes to the Energizer® look since 2008 and will come to life across the entire Energizer® portfolio.
