At 9am on 27 April 2019, the third edition of FitnessFest By AIA will be taking place, with a bigger line-up of international fitness stars as well as new ‘Fit For Good’ community pop-up challenges set to give and deliver a 360-degree experience beyond just physical fitness.
Singapore’s favourite fitness event for two years in a row, FitnessFest By AIA has become a major highlight in the local sports calendar with a stellar variety of activities and exclusive workout releases.
Epic 12-Hours Of Non-Stop Fitness Action
Dubbed the Netflix of Fitness, FitnessFest By AIA 2019 is set to be another epic instalment of 12-hours non-stop heart-pumping action with specially curated celebrity mass workouts, more than 60 classes, 10 Fitness Discovery Arenas and a new addition of Aerial Fitness, health talks and workshops, as well as a wellness marketplace to showcase all the latest health foods and wellness brands to hit the scene today.
Attendees will be the first to try out revolutionary exercises, pick up current fitness trends and discover new products and services. It is an exciting and engaging way to sweat, discover, learn, nourish and connect.
A Holistic Balance Of Programmes For Body, Mind And Soul
Said Tricia Sokolovitch, Organiser and Founder of the event, “FitnessFest By AIA is more than just a fun fitness playground offering back-to-back multifaceted physical activities. It encompasses a holistic balance of programmes to work the body, stimulate the mind and nourish the soul.”
She added, “We have ten discovery arenas for all to experiment in order to find their own fit. They cater to all levels from newbies to seasoned fit buffs, and all ages from the family friendly AIA #FitFam Arena to the elderly-friendly Flow Arena for slower movements like Yin Yoga.”
FitnessConcert Headlined By American Kelsey Wells
Additionally, the FitnessConcert stage this year will be headlined by Kelsey Wells, an American celebrity athlete, trainer, wife and mother. With 1.8 million followers on Instagram, Wells has taken the online fitness sphere by storm with her unique Power Strength Training programme that focuses on weights training for women to sculpt lean muscle, empowering them at the same time.
At the Singapore event, Wells will be conducting her signature 45-Minute full-body Power BootCamp.
Malaysia’s Jordon Yeoh To Be Present Too
As well, Malaysian fitness superstar Jordon Yeoh will be making an appearance too. A personal trainer, husband and father, Yeoh battled with both underweight and overweight issues, but has since transformed his life through fitness.
Burning social media channels from across the causeway with 4.2 million followers on Facebook and 1.3 million on YouTube, Yeoh has helped many people worldwide, to reach their fitness goals and become the best version of themselves, over the years, through his signature Ultimate Resistance Training programme called Iron Master.
And during the Singapore event, he will be conducting a session on how to activate your fat burning machine.
Trainers From Hong Kong, Thailand And Singapore To Be Present Too
Other superstars in the mix also include Utah Lee, a Nike Master Trainer from Hong Kong who will be conducting a Groovy Pop Cardio Dance workout as well as Thicha Srivisal, a Thai Pilates Master Trainer based in Singapore who will be teaching integrated Pilates principles of control, balance and posture.
And at the same time, Shape Fit Girl and yoga instructor, Singapore’s Roxanne Gan, who will be conducting a Vinyasa Flow class, and ballerinas Allison Carol and Lisha Chin, both Singaporeans too, who will introduce BalletBody, a unique ballet-based fitness workout that’s designed for non-dancers as well as dancers.
Organisers Hope Participants Will Be Motivated And Inspired
Added Sokolovitch, “Each of the fitness celebrities we have on stage has had their lives transformed by health and fitness, which made an impact on their mental and emotional strength.”
She continued, “So we hope that from hearing their journey, sharing their life experiences and taking part in the workouts, participants will be motivated to reach new personal levels of fitness.”
