Star Talk, a popular radio show and podcast, now has a television show on National Geographic Channel – the Late Night with Neil deGrasse Tyson: Star Talk. This show is hosted by prominent astrophysicist Dr. Tyson and is the TV version of the popular podcast of a similar title.
What the show is about
In the show, Neil sits with world-renowned cultural luminaries across science, entertainment and politics. Dubbed as the man who has breathed life into science in this day and age; Neil talks to guest stars who include English-American film director Christopher Nolan (Batman series, Inception, Interstellar), actor George Takei (Star Trek films) and the 39th President of United States, Jimmy Carter (Nobel Peace Prize winner).
During these one-on-one interviews, Neil explores all the ways that science and technology have influenced the life and livelihood of his guests, no matter what their background is. These may include discussion on topics of interest such as Interstellar, Space-talk, Television & Culture and the effect that Twitter has on society.
