A small group of curious onlookers crowded outside the Bugis Junction shopping mall, at Bugis Square, as five energetic young adults from Kulture Studios – a boutique music, dance & fitness studio in Singapore – bounced non-stop on a trampoline for several minutes. They had been jumping in perfect tandem to the loud, energising background music playing from the Ultimate Ears (UE) speakers on-site.

The five participants had been a part of the UE activation event, which took place at Bugis Junction yesterday. This event will continue again at Bugis Junction today from 2pm-4pm before moving to another undisclosed location next weekend.

And the music had been so inspiring that many members of the public had later signed themselves on to take part in the jumping as well – and as a bonus, people who had tried out this activity stood a chance to win for themselves UE speakers, as part of an ongoing #PartyUpWithUE Bounce Challenge by UE.

This event had been put together to launch the new PartyUp smartphone app, using UE’s two newest portable speakers – the UE Boom 2 and the UE MegaBoom to aid in the promotions.

The UE Boom 2 aims to transform the way that people experience music – completely redefining bluetooth speakers.

Connecting the speakers wirelessly via PartyUp

Both the UE Boom 2 and the UE MegaBoom can also be connected wirelessly via PartyUp, the free app that was recently launched and is now available for download via the iOS and Android App Stores.

The app is able to pair multiple UE BlueTooth speakers together – to a maximum of 50 speakers, creating magical moments during family outings, celebrations or other outdoor adventures.

We had the chance to pose with the lively trampoline bouncers.
