International Champions Cup: Meet your favourite footballers and take part in games at the House of Football

From the 20th to the 29th of July, Clarke Quay will be transformed into the House of Football – and members of the public will be able to immerse themselves in a world of football with various activities being lined up.

The House of Football, which is organised in conjunction with the International Champions Cup, will feature the Panna as the main attraction there – this is a one-on-one or two-on-two challenge to nutmeg your opponent before scoring a goal.

Played in a decagonal cage, players should maintain as much possession of the ball as possible in all directions – forwards, backwards or sideways.

Registration to play at the Panna or else to take part in the Urban Street Team’s Panna Championship is available at www.urbanstreetteam.com.

Walk-in registrations however, will be subject to availability. So if you are keen to participate in the Panna competition, it is therefore best to book your spot beforehand.

Other activities include the chance to play foosball, as well as themed nights hosted by La Liga and Paris St Germain and visiting and taking photos at Club Houses featuring club memorabilia by Arsenal, Atletico de Madrid and Paris St Germain.

And for those who prefer watching the action instead, they can look out for freestyle performances organised throughout the week by the Urban Street Team. There will also be nibbles to go with the spectating, provided by Harry’s, McGettigan’s Irish Pub, to ensure that you wine, dine and have a good time.

And you can also get a chance to meet your favourite players in the flesh too – this is because the clubs will be making a stop at the House of Football during the week before match-days.

Here is the full schedule of activities that will be organised at the House of Football:

These activities are all definitely a tantalising prospect for all football fans alike. Whether you support Arsenal, Atletico de Madrid or Paris St Germain, or any other football club, you should certainly drop by. So for me, I know that I will definitely be checking out the House of Football activities too, when I am free.

For fans who are still sitting on the fence about purchasing tickets to the International Champions Cup, these are still available at www.sportshub.com.sg and will also be available for purchase at the House of Football too. So you can kill two birds with one stone – checking out the House of Football and also grabbing your tickets too.

Beginning from S$28, group, family and multi-day tickets with perks are also available for football fans. Multi-day packages include benefits such as preferred seating, Fan Zone special entry passes, House of Football special entry passes and even a chance to win a pass to the clubs’ official training session at the National Stadium.

Moreover, members with UnionPay, the official payment brand of the 2018 International Champions Cup, will also enjoy 10 per cent off tickets across all categories except Field Seats, throughout the sale period.

The Field Seats, priced at S$388, are set to bring fans closer to the action – this is a first for the International Champions Cup and the Singapore National Stadium and consists of 50 seats per match in a strategic location situated along the pitch, right opposite the dugouts.
