The 25th iteration of ASICS’ flagship stability marathon running shoe, the ASICS GEL-KAYANO, will be launched on June 1st.

This shoe model has set the benchmark for long distance running performance since 1993.

And with ASICS’ unique approach to human centric design, research in technological innovations and dedication to excellence, each iteration of the GEL-KAYANO shoe has improved on the last version, offering runners increased protection and performance each time.

This human centric approach is something that ASICS’ founder, Kihachiuro Onitsuka, had pioneered in 1949.

And the revolutionary GEL-KAYANO series has broken boundaries in product innovation and at the same time, enabled runners to perform at their potential – revolutionising the performance running category.

The GEL-KAYANO 25 is thus no exception, offering brand new technology and features from ASICS’ revolutionary Institute of Sport Science which debuts in the GEL-KAYANO 25 version.

For instance, the next generation of ASICS’ lightweight and responsive cushioning technology, FlyteFoam Lyte features a reinforced and sustainable nanofibre compound which increases the durability of the foam, to provide runners with enhanced stability.

And the FlyteFoam Propel, ASICS’ newest patented foam formulation, is designed to provide enhanced responsiveness in toe-off. This is used together with the strategically placed ASICS GEL technology and works with the runner’s foot to help absorb shock.

As well, the Two-Layer Jacquard Mesh Upper gives runners a premium fit that improves flexibility and decreases irritation-causing wrinkles while at the same time, ensuring that the shoe remains lightweight and does not feel like it weighs down the feet as the runner runs further.

And with these features, the shoe is set to deliver superior protection and enhanced stability to runners, regardless of the distance they are running.
