If you are still sitting on the fence about signing up for the Great Eastern Women’s Run (GEWR), you should do so quickly. This is because Early bird registration for Asia’s largest all-women run, closes on 14 august.
Also as a further bonus, all runners who register and make payment using the OCBC Great Eastern Cashflo Credit Card are entitled to a further 10 per cent off their registration fees.
The normal registration ends on 30 September. Here is a table of the registration rates.
Will feature 5km, 10km and 21.1km races, and the popular Princess Dash
Taking place on 13 November and flagging off from The Float @ Marina Bay, the iconic Great Eastern Women’s Run will once again features its signature Half Marathon, the first all-women’s 21.1km race in the region – as well as the 5km and 10km distances.
As well, for the children aged between 3 to 9, they can also take part in the 100m Princess Dash, which was introduced last year. Young girls will compete in colourful tutus alongside their mothers and will be rewarded with a Finisher Tiara when they finish their race.
Targeting 17,000 runners, the 2016 race is commissioned by Great Eastern and organised by Infinitus Productions this year. The GEWR is the winner of several awards including the Singapore Sports Award 2016 for Best Sports Event of the Year (Local).
Runners will be entitled to attractive items such as an adidas branded Race tee, a sport sling bag, personalised race bib, finisher’s medal, a finisher’s certificate and also, just for the 21.1km runners, an exclusive finisher’s tee shirt.
Winners for the various categories will receive a combination of cash prizes in addition to crystal trophies to mark their achievements.

A partnership with fashion label KLARRA
This year the Great Eastern Women’s Run will also partner with fashion label KLARRA to produce an exclusive scarf designed by Singaporean fashion icon Beatrice Tan with proceeds going to support of the Breast Cancer Foundation and the Women’s Health Research and Education Fund.
Don a tutu for a cause
The Don a Tutu for a Cause is also back, with runners making a $5 donation for a tutu in the colour of one of the event beneficiaries to further show their support for the cause.

Race entry pack collection for the Great Eastern Women’s Run will take place on 28 – 30 October at the Marina Square Central Atrium Level 2 from 11am – 8pm.
