What to expect @ Puma Night Run 2017

This year’s Puma Night Run, which will once again be taking place at the Seletar Aerospace Park on 26 August, is seeing an overwhelming response, with already an increased sign up rate of over 2,000 participants from the previous event.

Said Gabriel Yap, Head of Marketing of Puma South East Asia “Following the positive feedback we received last year on holding the Puma Night Run Singapore at the Seletar Aerospace Park, we are happy to share that participants will be able to enjoy the experience yet again this year and look forward to running through clusters of colonial houses while seeing the occasional takeoff and landing of private jets.”

Puma Night Run will take place again come 26 August.

He added, “To continue to keep things fun, we have introduced new race categories where we hope to encourage more people to come out, challenge themselves and run with their friends.”

Run alongside local and Asian celebrities

Runners can also look forward to running alongside local and Asian celebrities such as South Korean actor Lee Jae Yoon who is best known for his role in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo (2016), and other locals celebrities such as Dawn Yeoh, Shane Pow, Sheila Sim, Xu Bin and Zhong ZiJie.

Throughout the night, there will be performances from chart toppers O.K. Ready! to deep house with ghostly abstract vocals by Jasmine Sokko, together with celebrity hosts Jade Seah, Sonia Chew and ZOUK resident DJ Ghetto and hype man Sonorous, which aims to get the adrenaline pumping for runners.

Range of pre and post race activities await runners

There will be lots to see and do at the race village.

At the race village, runners can look forward to a range of pre and post race activities at the various booths. They can also redeem exclusive freebies such as LED shoelaces and experience the different lacing options on the Puma Ignite NetFit at the Puma Lace Lab, as well as to get some guidance on how to customise their fit and style.

Prizes

Prizes such as Puma vouchers, gym memberships and air tickets will be given out to the fastest runners in both the 6km and the 12km categories and there will also be a lucky draw with the grand prize being a trip for two to a European destination of the winner’s choice with Turkish Airlines.

Shuttle bus services available from $5

Attractive prizes await the winners.

There are no parking lots at the Seletar Aerospace Park but runners can take the shuttle buses from Punggol MRT Station from 4.30pm-6.15pm and the buses from the race village to the MRT station at 9.45pm onwards.
