The new Euro 2016 home kit for the Russia National Team has been unveiled. Inspired by the idea of conflicting forces that exist inside everyone, the home jersey demonstrates loyalty to the values of elegance, valour and pragmatism, faithfulness to the past and willingness to move forward.
Colour pays tribute to Russia’s traditions and history
The colour of the kit is collegiate burgundy colour – which pays tribute to Russian traditions and history. It has a V-neck collar and three stripes down the shoulder and the sides. The left of the jersey has the Russian crest and the right has the adidas logo in a golden tone that is symbolic of Russia’s architectural legacy.

The eagle shaped ornament on the jersey is also a symbol of Russia’s cultural and historical continuity – representing Russian values such as courage, togetherness and liberty.
Kit is lighter than the previous edition
The kit is made of light fabric, to improve ventilation without sacrificing comfort and movement. The weight, at 90g, is 10g lighter than the previous jersey.
