Pan-Seared Dory
This dory fillet was topped with a bolognaise type sauce and served together with vegetables (carrots and broccoli).
I tried a little of this fish, and I really enjoyed the taste. It was moist and full of flavour. The bolognaise sauce also complemented the flavour of the fish really well.
This dish is priced at $12.90.

Chocolate Lava Cake
This cake was served in a porcelain container, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top. I thought the presentation was different to other eateries where the lava cake is usually placed on a plate together with a few slices of fruit and ice cream.
However, I was a little disappointed with the taste and this cake also did not seem to have an outer sponge base – probably the reason why it had been served in the porcelain container. When I dug my spoon into it, there seemed to be only molten chocolate.
As for the flavour, it appeared to be floury and undercooked. However, the vanilla ice cream tasted really good and this helped to neutralise the floury taste. It is a dessert I would probably not be ordering again.
This cake will set you back by $5.90.
Creme Caramel

When this dessert came out, I was a little taken aback by the small size because I had actually expected it to be a little bigger.
But when I took a forkful of this caramel custard pudding, I thought it was quite delicious. It was really creamy and the buttery caramel flavour came out well.
However, I had one gripe about this dish – there seemed to be a bit of cheese mixed into it – which did not seem to go well with the custard.
This item cost about $4.90.
Overall Comments
I would probably return to this café again to eat their bangers & mash as it was really tasty – but in the future, I would ask for sizzling hot sausages.
Some other main courses that caught my eye in the menu included the spaghetti bolognaise, the teriyaki salmon and some of the baked pasta dishes, so I may order these on my next visit here.
